The KAB Foundation

The purpose of the foundation is to provide charitable, socially beneficial support to solving tasks and issues within the housing and construction sectors and for cultural activities within the housing sector.

The KAB Foundation provides support for the following main purposes:

• Quality and productivity in the construction sector
• Housing for elderly and disabled people
• Development of neighbourhoods and residential areas
• Urban reconstruction, urban renewal and urban and residential improvement
• Internationalisation of construction and the housing sector

Karl Pedersen & Wife Industry Foundation

The foundation provides support for projects that strengthen the Danish export sector. This includes both new tools that strengthen the export of existing products / services as well as the technology development of new products / services with great export potential. The foundation only supports projects that are innovative and which consist of a committed partnership between several companies / institutions.

FashionForest Scholarship

Katoni legatet is awarded annually to worthy research person(s), student(s) or person(s) who are passionate about their involvement with a theoretical project in the field of education or a practical project, which can be related to their work or internship – or to both in combination. T

The Rural Fund – Experimental Projects

The overall purpose of supporting pilot projects in rural areas is to promote business development, service and settlement in addition to enhancing living conditions and support initiatives aimed at children and the young as well as local activities for cultural and leisure, including helping to create and maintain employment. Individuals, associations, institutions and companies with local anchorages in rural areas can apply for support. Public companies can also apply under certain conditions.

Various types of pilot projects can be supported to improve development opportunities in a local or rural area.

The Rural Fund – Research and Information Projects

The overall goal of the funding is to improve rural development opportunities. For research and information projects, the purpose is thus to clarify and communicate to a greater degree the preconditions for such development opportunities.

The projects must have character of either research or information activities, but the format can be manifold and may include movies, theme days, written information, websites and other initiatives that can disseminate knowledge of life in rural areas to a wider audience.

The Rural Fund – Projects on Small Islands

The Rural Fund supports initiatives and projects that can generate development and jobs on small islands.

The overall purpose of supporting projects on smaller islands is to secure the living conditions of these communities. The supported projects are implemented on one or several small islands. Support is provided in the form of grants and loans. Read more is in the guide below.

The Laurits Andersen Foundation

The main purpose of the foundation is to promote Danish industry and trade. Funding is allocated to the following:

• A one-year China Scholarship with full-time study in the Chinese language in China.
• Support for the further education abroad of young engineers, technicians, economists with a focus on China
• Special projects that promote the fund’s main purpose and with special focus on China
  In addition, the fund distributes a small amount to a limited number of charities in Denmark and abroad once annually in December

The Lauritzen Foundation

The foundation supports social and humanitarian purposes, particularly vulnerable children and young people, as well as innovative projects of a commercial nature in Denmark. This may include a lack of access to cultural experiences as well as a lack of exercise and play facilities. Funding is also available through the education system.

Additional areas that are eligible for support are the maritime sector, culture, social work and education.
