The Environment and Energy Foundation

The foundation provides support for the dissemination and promotion of renewable energy and for the promotion of innovative technologies, methods and product development in the fields of the environment and energy.

Funding is offered within two areas:

• Major development projects supported by up to DKK 100,000 per project per year.
• Events supported by up to DKK 5,000.

The foundation also provides loans for the start-up of new business areas which, in an innovative way, can lead to the reduction of CO2 emissions in Denmark.

Nordic Innovation – Joint Nordic Events

Nordic Innovation offers funding for joint Nordic workshops, seminars, exhibitions, pavilions or similar. Both physical and digital activities are eligible for funding.

Nordic Innovation has identified North America, China and India as the most promising markets for effective joint Nordic activities. Therefore, priority is given to activities aimed at either one of these markets or with a global reach. Projects must include partners from at least three Nordic countries. Nordic Innovation can finance up to 50% of the total budget.

The Nordic Culture Fund – Project support

The Nordic Culture Fund supports projects that contribute to a renewed and dynamic art and cultural life in the Nordic region – projects that are diverse, accessible and of high quality.

The New Carlsberg Foundation 

The New Carlsberg Foundation supports Danish art museums and art research by providing support for the publication of art books and providing travel grants for art historians for research purposes. In relation to construction, the foundation supports the art industry, architecture and garden art.

The Otto Bruun Foundation

The Otto Bruun Foundation supports research within Danish industry as well as the development by entrepreneurs and inventors of industrial inventions in addition to other purposes of general social importance.

Funding is provided in the form of grants and in some cases capital requirement. Funding is available for individuals – inventors, entrepreneurs and students – as well as institutions and companies.

Rockwool Fonden er en almnenyttig fond, som støtter en bred vifte af almennyttige formål. 

”Fondens formål er, alt efter fondsbestyrelsens nærmere beslutning, at støtte videnskabelige, humanitære, kunstneriske eller sociale formål, samt at bidrage til forbedring af miljø og samfundsudvikling.” 

ROCKWOOL Fondens bestyrelse har i henhold til de formål, der er opstillet i fundatsen, besluttet at prioritere støtte til projekter, der har som mål at generere ny, uafhængig viden, der kan styrke velfærdssamfundets økonomiske og sociale bæredygtighed.

The Sonning Foundation

Support is particularly provided for the restoration or reconstruction of historic buildings as well as for musical purposes, including musical projects and initiatives in the fields of research and dissemination that bring new impetus to the music scene in Denmark. No support is given for the purchase of musical instruments or student grants.

The foundation grants special priority to projects that are experiencing difficulty obtaining support from other sources.
