The Danish Arts Foundation

The Danish Arts Foundation’s Grants and Project Support Committee for Architecture awards three-year work stipends and work grants to architects with the aim of maintaining and promoting the creative practice and artistic production of artists.

Regular work grants and three-year work stipends are available.

The Danish Arts Foundation – Arts and craft projects in Denmark and abroad

Grants for projects taking place in Denmark and abroad: production, exhibition, shows, exhibition participation, seminars and dissemination of Danish craft and design.

Support can be sought for:

• Exhibitions, exhibition/trade fair participation, shows and dissemination
• Production

Thomas B Thrige’s Foundation

Financial support is provided for the promotion of scientific and educational purposes deemed by the foundation’s Board of Governors to be of importance to the wellbeing of the business community. Support is also offered by other means to institutions, enterprises or persons whose activities are deemed by the Board of Governors to be of importance to the business community.

Funding is available for two purposes:

• Projects that benefit Danish business, primarily industry and craft companies
• Educational grants for further supplementary business-related education at foreign universities

TrygFonden

TrygFonden supports projects that enhance safety for everyone in Denmark. The aim is to increase public safety by promoting safety, health and wellbeing in Denmark. The core areas are:

• Safety – support for the development of knowledge as well as tools that can help prevent accidents in everyday situations: at home, at school, in the traffic or on the beach.
• Health – support for activities within the prevention and cure of diseases, ensuring more Danes enjoy a good life. This is undertaken on the basis of evidence-based knowledge that is translated into action.
• Wellbeing – support for activities that help reduce the barriers that can hinder individual exploiting their potentials. Everyone must enjoy the opportunity to take part in society and communal life.

Realdania – Wonders

Realdania has for a number of years pursued the aim of supporting the firebrands of our built environment. Realdania has thus received a stream of project ideas from volunteers who wish to either reimagine or renovate buildings. The Wonders campaign also seeks to promote a strategic focus among municipalities on firebrand volunteers.

The campaign is to encourage the undertakings of firebrands within the built environment for the benefit of the local community. This is to be achieved by:

• Inspiring potential firebrands to launch new, innovative projects in the built environment.
• Qualifying such enthusiasts within our built heritage and support them with developing, organising and implementing voluntary projects
• Building a bridge between firebrand volunteers and municipalities and promote networking and dialogue.
